GLP-1 Weight Loss Coupons 2026: Ozempic, Wegovy & Zepbound Savings Compared

Updated July 2026 · 8 min read

List prices for GLP-1 weight loss medications look brutal on paper — Wegovy around $1,349/month, Zepbound around $1,086/month, Mounjaro around $1,079/month, Ozempic around $998/month. Almost nobody in NYC actually pays those numbers. Between manufacturer savings cards, direct-from-manufacturer cash pricing, and independent-pharmacy self-pay programs, the real range in 2026 is $0–$499/month.

This is a side-by-side comparison of every legitimate GLP-1 coupon and savings program in 2026, plus what patients actually pay at our NYC pharmacy counter. No affiliate hype, just the numbers.

Novo Nordisk: Wegovy & Ozempic (NovoCare)

Wegovy Savings Card

  • With coverage: $0/month for eligible commercial patients whose plan covers Wegovy, with a monthly and annual max.
  • Without coverage: NovoCare cash-pay pathway at ~$499/month for all doses.
  • Best-case NYC: $199/month intro self-pay at 79th Street Pharmacy for eligible new patients.

Full breakdown in our Wegovy Savings Card guide.

Ozempic Savings Card

Ozempic is FDA-approved for Type 2 diabetes only. The savings card caps eligible commercial T2D patients at $25 per 1-, 2-, or 3-month prescription. There is no cash-pay weight loss pathway for Ozempic — patients seeking a GLP-1 for weight loss should look at Wegovy (semaglutide, weight-loss indication) or Zepbound.

Eli Lilly: Zepbound, Mounjaro & Foundayo

Zepbound Savings Card

  • With coverage: as low as $25/month for eligible commercial patients whose plan covers Zepbound.
  • Without coverage: as low as $650/month for the auto-injector pens through the card's cash-support tier.
  • LillyDirect Self-Pay Pharmacy: single-dose vials at $349/month for 2.5 mg and 5 mg, and $499/month for 7.5 mg and 10 mg. Vials are drawn up with a syringe (Lilly provides a step-by-step video).

Mounjaro Savings Card

Mounjaro is FDA-approved for Type 2 diabetes. Commercially insured T2D patients typically pay $25/month using the Mounjaro Savings Card. Off-label Mounjaro for weight loss usually loses both insurance coverage and coupon eligibility — Zepbound is the correct weight-loss indication for tirzepatide.

Foundayo (oral orforglipron)

Lilly's oral GLP-1 pill launched with a copay support program mirroring Zepbound's — as low as $25/month for eligible commercial patients, with direct cash pricing available through LillyDirect. Included in the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge program starting July 1, 2026.

Who Isn't Eligible for Coupons

Every GLP-1 manufacturer savings card excludes:

  • Medicare (including Part D and Medicare Advantage)
  • Medicaid
  • TRICARE, VA, IHS, and any other federal/state government insurance
  • Patients residing outside the US

If that's you, the pathways that actually work are: (1) the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge Program at $50/month starting July 1, 2026, (2) the direct-from-manufacturer cash pathways (NovoCare, LillyDirect), or (3) our self-pay pricing at 79th Street Pharmacy.

GoodRx and Discount Cards — Do They Actually Help?

For brand-name GLP-1s, no. Manufacturer coupons and direct cash pricing beat GoodRx and third-party discount cards in essentially every case we see. Skip the middle step, go straight to NovoCare or LillyDirect, and let a real pharmacist tell you which route wins for your specific plan.
